Puma Growth Partners expands senior team with Louis Hopgood appointment
Puma Growth Partners (“Puma”) has appointed Louis Hopgood as Portfolio Finance Lead, the first in a series of strategic senior hires to strengthen Puma’s ability to support portfolio companies and drive growth.
Louis brings extensive experience from EY / EY-Parthenon where he specialised in providing due diligence to private equity and corporate clients with a particular focus on the TMT sector.
A first-class Accounting and Finance graduate from the University of Bath, Louis joins during a period of significant growth for the business. Puma deployed £50 million since July 2024 into standout high-growth businesses including HubBox, YASO, Semeris, NRG Gyms and LOVE CORN. The team continues to expand across Puma’s offices in London, Manchester and Scotland, after a record fundraise in 2025.
In his new role, Louis will support portfolio company performance through the use of rigorous financial analysis and KPI insights to help portfolio finance teams inform strategic decisions and support sustainable growth.
